Welcome to Palmetto Thrift Store (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or purchasing from our store (in person or online at www.palmettothriftstore.com), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before shopping with us.

1. General Information

Palmetto Thrift Store is a resale and consignment-based business offering gently used clothing, accessories, furniture, and home décor. Our goal is to provide affordable, high-quality items while supporting local community initiatives.

2. Product Condition

All items sold at Palmetto Thrift Store are pre-owned unless otherwise stated. While we carefully inspect and clean products before sale, all items are sold “as is.” We do not guarantee brand authenticity, manufacturer warranties, or condition beyond what is described or displayed at the time of sale.

3. Returns and Exchanges

  • All sales are final.

  • We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds unless an item was incorrectly labeled or priced due to a store error.

  • For defective electronics or furniture, please notify us within 48 hours of purchase for review.

  • Clearance or discounted items are non-returnable under any circumstance.

4. Payment Terms

We accept major credit/debit cards, cash, and approved digital payments. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD) and are subject to applicable sales tax.
Palmetto Thrift Store reserves the right to refuse or cancel any transaction suspected of fraud or misuse.

5. Donations

  • Donated items become the property of Palmetto Thrift Store and may be priced, displayed, or donated at our discretion.

6. Online Orders and Shipping (if applicable)

If you purchase through our website or social media platforms:

  • Orders are processed within 3–5 business days.

  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout.

  • We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages once shipped.

  • Local pickup orders must be collected within 7 days of notification.

7. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. Personal information collected during transactions (online or in-store) is used solely for completing purchases, improving services, or communicating updates. We never sell customer data to third parties.

8. Store Policies and Conduct

Customers must treat staff and other shoppers with respect. Any form of harassment, theft, or vandalism will result in removal from the premises and possible legal action.

9. Liability Limitation

Palmetto Thrift Store is not liable for damages or injuries resulting from the use or misuse of purchased items. You agree to hold us harmless from any claims or disputes arising from your use of our products or services.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted in-store and online. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
